What we handle

Built for modern harvests

Continued investment has increased both storage capacity and throughput, helping Cannington Grain Store meet the speed and productivity demands of modern harvest operations.

  • 40,000 mT total holding capacity
  • Multiple grain silos
  • 10,000 mT grain storage shed
  • 670 tph combined intake capacity over four intakes
  • Five continuous-flow grain driers
  1. Step 1

    Weighing

Each delivered load is sampled and weighed in on arrival, then weighed out after offloading.

  2. Step 2

    Cleaning

Crops are cleaned on intake before going into storage.

  3. Step 3

    Drying

Five continuous-flow grain driers bring crops to storage condition.

  4. Step 4

    Grading

Load-by-load testing records moisture, kg/hl and screenings in daily intake reports.

Fast turnaround

The last harvest turnaround time averaged just 6 minutes per delivered load, from weighing in, sampling, unloading to weighing out.
